Have you wanted to learn more about ritual and how to plan and create a ritual? If so, come join the Arizona Chapter of Illuman during the weekend of April 28-30, 2017 at Aravaipa Canyon Ranch. During this weekend we will explore the history, traditions, purpose, and experiences with ritual and will also plan and create rituals for men's work. The weekend will also include council practice, time to wander in the beautiful desert, and a sweat lodge.
The cost of the weekend is $120 which will cover your lodging and meals. Lodging will be in the ranch house, or if you prefer you can camp on the property in your own tent or under the stars. Plan to arrive anytime on Friday April 28th to enjoy the canyon.
The event will begin with dinner served from 6-7:30p. This will be followed with a check-in council and a sweat lodge. On Saturday there will be teachings on ritual and then small groups of men will meet to plan and create a ritual. You will also have time for personal reflection while you wander and explore the nearby desert. On Sunday we will close with your groups sharing your rituals. The retreat will end around 2:00p on Sunday.
